This session was so much fun, full of energy and laughter, and we had the most perfect weather, resulting in gorgeous golden hour images.
I have been photographing Violet and Felix year after year for my Xmas mini sessions, but, with the need to cancel them this year...sigh...Suzi decided to book me for a family shoot instead. Family photography with young children is much trickier than you think, as a photographer you have to gain the childrens' trust quickly, raise energy levels and also calm them down when needed. It's a really tricky balance but I finally feel I am getting better and better at all of these skills required to capture beautiful, happy and honest images.
I laughed so much during this session, Suzi and James really made the session flow, willing to get fully involved and have all the fun, parents participation and willingness to go with my ideas is key to the success of these sessions, thank you Suzi and James for a wonderful time, I hope you treasure these images for a lifetime, Gemma x
